Grome, the outdoor editor, provides support for OpenSceneGraph engine

Europe, Bucharest, October 8, 2012 – Quad Software announced today the release of “Grome to OpenSceneGraph” integration. Grome is a complex terrain and outdoor editing tool used by many companies from 3D simulation industry. OpenSceneGraph is one of the most well known engines used in 3D simulation industry.

The integration consists in a special plugin designed to save editor scenes into OpenSceneGraph format, in binary and source code formats, plugin documentation and tutorial, sample maps and a dedicated forum section.

“With this official integration OpenSceneGraph users benefit from an out-of-the-box solution for editing large outdoor scenes and saving this data directly into the engine native formats“, says Adrian Licuriceanu, Quad Software Technical Director in charge of Grome development.

Grome integration with OpenSceneGraph engine is immediately available from the developer website.
