Global financial jitters mean the 2012 ITEC exhibition and conference might be “slightly smaller” than last year’s event, but those economic concerns also mean military simulation and training are more vital than ever, organizers say.
“The internationally acknowledged need for a cost-efficient way to train soldiers to the highest standard has led to an increasing emphasis on the importance of military simulation and training,” said ITEC spokeswoman Georgia Langdon.

The contract, which was signed in Ballerup, Denmark on 14th December 2011, was awarded to Kongsberg Maritime as part of a public tender issued to support the Royal Danish Navy’s training capabilities through advanced simulation technology.
