Primarily BISim work in the military training and simulation area but they are steadily breaking through into other areas where thorough training is imperative to ensure protection and safety.

The cooperation enables customers all over the globe to set up a truly immersive training station in less than 10 minutes.

TerraSim, Inc. will demonstrate a significant advance in the generation of geo-specific buildings for use in the Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BIS) Virtual Battlespace 2 runtime.

Currently, VBS2 users who develop geo-specific 3D models are restricted in the overall length and width of a constructed building, as well as the number of geometry vertices which can exist in a single model. These constraints making it almost impossible to place large buildings like skyscrapers and commercial complexes in the VBS2 runtime.

The U.S. Army’s Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) shooter game is less than two years old, but the service is already laying plans to replace it, and that’s a tricky task.

“The technology moves so fast that a company we’ve never heard of today could be the front-runner when we put a solicitation out,” said Lt. Col.
