Dome simulator upgrade to integrate Multiple Image Processors and high-performance projection technology for soldier combat training

Fredrikstad, Norway, 5 May 2011 – On the eve of ITEC 2011, Europe’s largest military training and simulation event, leading high-performance projector and image processing manufacturer, projectiondesign® announces the supply of twenty-six F32 projectors and Multiple Image Processors to Cassidian. Cassidian is an EADS company who has offices in Friedrichshafen, Ulm and is headquartered in Unterschleißheim in Germany.  The upgrade and retrofit to the STINGER dome training system comprises a 20-meter wide dome projection system with a 340-degree field to create a realistic simulation and training environment and will be completed in November 2011.
