VR Group delivers tactical training solution for air training to new tactical simulation centre

On November 28, 2011 a new Tactical Simulation Center (TSC) opened at the Air Training Center in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

The purpose of the center is to provide joint tactical training to air force pilots. VR Group a.s. developed and manufactured the simulation systems installed at the center.  At the TSC, a group of 8 pilots and  2 ground-controlled interception (GCI) operators can conduct a training exercise  at once or in smaller groups with other participants such as operators of computer generated forces, observers, and training instructors. The collective training is focused on the development of combat skills mainly in the area of beyond visual range (BVR) tactics. VR Group’s simulators enable the simulation of JAS-39 and L-159 aircraft, and generic supersonic aircraft in air-to-air operations. Plans are to add forward air controller simulation capabilities in May 2012 along with the ability to conduct simulated air-to-ground exercises.
